18. Troubleshooting By purchasing this radio camera, you have acquired a product designed to the state of the art and operationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur. Therefore, observe the following information about troubleshooting. Radio camera image is not displayed • Each radio camera (up to 4 are possible) must be logged on to the screen/DVR. This process is also called "Pairing". Observe chapter 14. a).
Motion detection is not working correctly • The screen/DVR has two different types of motion detection - based on changes in the camera image (see chapter 12. b) and based on heat changes in the recording area of the PIR sensor (see chapter 12. c). Both types of motion detection have benefits and disadvantages; the most important items are: 1: Motion recognition based on changes in the camera image (see chapter 12.
USB data carrier is not recognised • The screen/DVR can only be operated with USB data carriers up to a capacity of 1 TB. • The screen/DVR can only handle the file format FAT or FAT32, but not, e.g., NTFS. • Format the USB data carrier with the corresponding function of the screen/DVR, see chapter 11. e); all data on the USB data carrier will be lost. Depending on USB data carrier size, formatting may take a while.
Network does not work • Correctly insert the screen/DVR into the docking station to the stop. • Before you switch on the screen/DVR, it needs to be connected to the docking station and the network connection between the router/network switch must be established. • Connect the screen/DVR directly to the router instead of the network switch. • Always use a 1:1 connected, fully wired network cable. • Depending on your network, either select DHCP in your network settings or set a fixed IP address.
19. Range The transmission range of the radio signals between radio camera and the screen/DVR is up to 300 m under optimum conditions. However, the range values refer to the so-called "free field range". However, this ideal arrangement (e.g. screen/DVR and radio camera on a plain, even meadow without trees, houses, etc.) is never possible in practice. Usually, the screen/DVR is set up in the house and the radio camera is installed, e.g., at a carport or in a stairwell.
20. Care and Cleaning Never use any aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these may damage the casing or even impair function. • Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning it. • Use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning the product. 21. Disposal Electronic devices are recyclable and should not be disposed of in household waste. Dispose of the product according to the applicable statutory provisions at the end of its service life. 22.
