c) Function "Language"
• After calling the function, you can select the desired language with the control buttons " " or " ".
• Save the selection with the button "OK" (9); then you will leave setting mode again.
 Toleavesettingmodewithoutsavingthesettings(cancel),brieypushthebutton"MENU"(6).Thedisplay
will switch back to the prior menu.
d) Function "Record mode"
Here, you can set what happens when the MicroSD/MicroSDHC memory card used or the USB data carrier is full.
• Use the control buttons " " or " " to choose between the following operating modes:
"Normal": If the memory card or the USB data carrier is full, the recording is terminated.
"Overwrite": If the memory card or the USB data carrier is full, the respective oldest recordings are automatically
overwritten.
• Save the selection with the button "OK" (9); then you will leave setting mode again.

will switch back to the prior menu.
e) Function "Format SD/USB"
MemorycardsoftypeMicroSDorMicroSDHCandUSBdrivesareusuallyformattedinthelesystemFAT/FAT32and
can be used in the screen/DVR at once.
Conventional hard discs, however, are either empty/unformatted, or were partitioned/formatted on a computer (and on
WindowsPCsusuallyinlesystemNTFS).Inbothcases,suchharddiscscouldnotbeoperatedatthescreen/DVR.
Forthisreason,thescreen/DVRofferstheoptionofformattingtheconnecteddatacarrierinthelesystemFAT32.
Attention!
When formatting, all data on the respective data carrier will be lost!
• After calling the function, use the control buttons " " or " " to select the desired memory type that you want to
format.
• Brieypushthe"OK"button(9).Asafetypromptappears.
• Use the control buttons " " or " "toselectwhetheryouwanttoconrmformattingorcanceltheprocess.
• Toconrmtheselection,pushthebutton"OK"(9).Alternatively,pushthe"MENU"(5)buttontoreturntotheprevi-
ous menu (cancel).
 Ifformattingofthedatacarrierwasconrmed,formattingstarts.Dependingondatacarriersize,thismay
take a while.
