The mains socket into which the USB charging adapter is plugged
must be easily accessible.
Do not use the product if it is damaged. There is a risk of a life-threat-
ening
electric shock!
In this case, dispose of the product in an environmentally correct
manner.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (leaking smoke
or a smell of burning, audible cracking noises, discolouration to
the product or the adjacent surfaces)
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
Only use the device in a temperate climate, never in a tropical
climate.
Always unplug the USB charging adapter from the mains socket
before cleaning it or when the device is not be used for a long
time. Unplug also the USB devices connected to the USB charging
adapter.
Never pour any liquids above or next to the product. You run the
risk of causing a fire or a fatal electric shock.
If any liquid has still happened to enter the device, immediately
turn off the power supply to the mains socket to which the USB
charging adapter is connected (turn off the fuse / circuit breaker /
residual current operated circuit breaker of the associated circuits).
Only then can you unplug the USB charging adapter from the
mains socket and contact a specialist. Do not use the product any
longer.
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of
the Employers Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Sys-
tems and Operating Facilities are to be observed!
If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating
instructions, please contact our technical department or another
specialist.
Start-up
Plug the USB charging adapter into a regular grounded mains socket
(e.g. wall socket) of the public supply grid. The blue LED between the
both USB sockets will light up (power LED).
Switch off the USB device if it has an on/off switch.
Connect the USB device with one of the USB sockets on the front side
of the USB charging adapter.
Now switch on the USB device if it has an on/off switch.
Total current provided to both USB sockets on the front side of the
USB charging adapter is 3.4 A.
If two USB devices are connected, this current is automatically dis-
tributed (e.g. 1 A and 2.4 A).
Do not overload the USB charging adapter, as it can damage the
device.
Due to integrated electronics, the USB charging adapter detects the
charging current required by a mobile phone, smartphone or tablet.
However, due to great variety of devices it cannot be guaranteed
that all devices can be charged with maximum possible charging
current (as in case of an original charger matching the device).
If a USB device does not operate correctly, disconnect it from the USB
charging adapter.
If there are no USB devices connected to the USB charging adapter,
unplug it from the mains socket to save energy.
Maintenance and cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be dis-
assembled for any reason.
Before cleaning, disconnect the product from the mains voltage and un-
plug the mains plug from the mains socket. If a USB device is connected,
disconnect it from the USB charging adapter as well.
Use a dry, clean, soft cloth for cleaning. Dust can be easily removed with
a dry, soft, clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chem-
ical solutions, which may damage the casing or even impair opera-
tion.
Disposal
The product must not be disposed of in the household waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, ac-
cording to the current statutory requirements.
