b) Batteries

• Correctpolaritymustbeobservedwhileinsertingthebatteries.

• Removethebatteries,ifyouarenotgoingtousethedeviceforawhile,toprevent

damage from leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns

whenincontactwithskin.Alwaysuseprotectivegloveswhenhandlingdamaged

batteries.

• Keepthebatteriesoutofthereachofchildren.Donotleavebatterieslyingaround,

as they may be swallowed by children or pets.

• Replaceallofthebatteriesatthesametime.Mixingoldandnewbatteriesmay

leadtobatteryleakageandthustodamagetothedevice.

• Batteriesmustnotbedismantled,short-circuitedorthrownintore.Nevercharge

conventional,non-rechargeablebatteries.Thereisariskofexplosion.
