a) Explanation of operating elements

• Batterycompartmentcover(1):Toopenthebatterycompartmentcover,turnfromtheCLOSE

marking(8)toOPEN.

• InfraredLED(2):Thisisinvisiblelightforrecordingobjectsinthedark.

• Cameralens(3):Wideanglelensforrecordingofasingleimageoravideo.

• TestLED(4):ThetestLEDservesasacountdowndisplayandfortestingtherangeofthe

PIRmotiondetector.

• Microphone(5):Recordssoundduringvideorecording.

• PIR motion detector (6): Detects motion and registers objects that move in thedetection

range.

• Basecover(7):Toopen,turncounterclockwise.HidesthecontrolpanelandtheLCdisplay.

• Wallbracketattachment(9):Attachtheincludedwallbracket(26)here.

• Strapslots(10):Feedtheincludedfasteningstrap(24)throughheretofastenthecamera

to a pole or tree.

• Battery compartment (11): Holds 4 type C 1.5 V batteries (batteries are not included in

delivery).

• Tripodattachment(12):Attachyourowntripodhere.

• CoverforAC poweradaptersocket(13): OpenthecovertoattachanACadaptertothe

camera.Closethecoverifnoadapterisconnectedtopreventwaterfromenteringthedevice.

outs.ThisfunctionisavailableonlyincombinationwithanACadapter.Removeanyinserted

batteries before you begin the pre-take feature.
