b) Using the camera in PIR mode
• Openthebasecover(7)andsettheTEST OFF CAM PSET switch to CAM or PSET.
• Afterapprox.30seconds,thecountdownstartsandthebluetestLEDashesforapprox.
60seconds.Leavethedetectionarea.
• Afterthe60-secondcountdown,thecameraswitchestomulti-shotorvideorecordingmode,
depending on how the camera was programmed. The camera is triggered and begins
recording when motion is detected.
IfyouhaveselectedCAM,makesurethatthecameraisinPIRmodeandnotintime
lapsemode(TLS).Refertochapter12.,sectionc)“Settingimageorvideorecording”
if you are not sure.
Setting the camera to record images
• Set the TEST OFF CAM PSET switch to TEST.
• Press the Mbuttonandthenpress▼.TheLCdisplayashestheprogramminglevel“2”,
“CAM”and“VIDEO”.
• Press the OKbuttonandthenthe▲or▼buttonstoselect“CAM”(image).
• Press the OKbuttontoconrm“CAM”(imagerecording).
• Press the Mbuttontoleavethemenu.
