An INTER-LOCK door system requires two code locks The example shown uses two code locks
with a simple cross-wiring at the "OUTPUT 1 INHIBIT" and "INTER-LOC CONTROL OUTPUT" termi-
nal clamps. The two (-) clamps of the two code locks must be bridged (as shown) to warrant the
INTER-LOCK logic function.
- Use the code lock to open the door from the outside.
- Press the egress button to open the door from the inside.
- Connect the magnetic door sensors to determine the door position.
- While door 1 is open, door 2 must remain closed. Or vice versa.
- Use the N.O. relay output for a fail secure lock and the N.C. output for a fail-safe lock.
