2. Intended Use
This code lock is designed to secure doors against unauthorised entry (e.g.
offi ce, lobby areas etc). A maximum of 99 users with different codes can be
saved to the unit. The keys of the key panel are backlit. This is suitable to
connect an electric door opener, as well as visual or acoustic signal units
(please note the maximum load of the exit or relay contacts, to be found in
the chapter “Technical Data” at the end of the operating manual).
Please also note the detailed description of the connections in Chapter “6.
Installation and connection”.
The power supply is via 12 to 24 volts AC/DC. The code lock has a protection
rating IP65 and is suitable for assembly and operation in unprotected outdoor
areas.
Use other than that described above will lead to damage of the product
and may also involve additional risks such as short circuits, fi re, electric
shocks etc. No part of this product may be modifi ed or rebuilt. Observe the
safety instructions under all circumstances!
