• Set the desired temperature with the buttons (4) or (5)a.Thenewlysettemperatureashesonthetemperature
display for a few seconds. The current room temperature is then displayed.
• The fan runs if heating level II or I + II are enabled. The heating level display (7) shows the activated heating
level. The fan continues to run for approx. 1 minute when the device is switched off or when heating level I is
enabled.
• As soon as the pre-set temperature is reached, the device switches off and the heating level display goes out.
The device switches back on again as soon as the room temperature falls 2 °Cbelowthepre-settemperature.
b) Manual operation
• With the device on, press the button (1), (3) or (2) to switch from automatic to manual operation. The
indicator goes out and the display (8) for manual operation comes on.
• Set the temperature with the buttons or . The device turns on as soon as the room temperature falls 2 °C
below the pre-set temperature.
• Manually select with the buttons and the heating levels I, II or I + II. The heating level display lights up
according to the active heating level.
• Switch to automatic operation by pressing the button again. The display goes out and the display goes on.
• Turn off the device with the on/off button, position O. The indicator light on the on/off switch goes out.
c) Frost protection function
• Switch the device on. Set the temperature to 5 °Cwiththebutton . As soon as the room temperature falls below
5 °C,thefrostprotectionwillactivateandtheindicator (6) lights up on the function display.
• The device starts heating up on heating level I + II and turns off as soon as the room temperature reaches 5 °C.
d) Anti-tilt mechanism and thermal shutdown
• The device with castors (order no. 1524062) is equipped with an anti-tilt mechanism. If the device tips over, the
anti-tilt protection activates and the device turns off automatically. The anti-tilt protection activates when a certain
angle is reached. Set the on/off switch (15) to position O.Checkthedeviceforanydamagebeforefurtheruse.Then
set up the device up again vertically. Set the on/off switch to I to switch on the device.
• Thedeviceswitchesoffautomaticallyincaseofoverheating.Waituntiltheappliancehascooleddownsufciently.
Turn on the device again after it has cooled down.
