Positioning
• Place the product on a at and stable surface.
• The ventilation slot (5) must not be obstructed.
• Align the product in such a way, that the ventilation slot points to the middle of the room.
Operation
If you suffer from asthma or bronchial diseases, contact your physician before using
the product.
The product generates a small amount of ozone during use. Under normal
conditions, this does not affect the human body. If you or other persons are sensitive
to such ozone, immediately disconnect the product from the mains and open the
window.
Some electric discharge may occur during operation, causing slight crackling noise.
That is normal and not a fault.
There might also be slight odors occurring during operation, similar to the smell of
soil after rain. That is normal and not a fault.
• Make sure the product is turned off. The on/off switch (6) must not be countersunk in the
housing, but it must slightly protrude.
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the USB cable to the power connection (4).
• Connect the USB plug of the USB cable to the respective socket of the power adapter.
• Connect the power adapter to a common household wall socket.
You may also connect the product directly to an available USB port of a PC or to
a suitable vehicle USB adapter. In such a case, make sure the USB port provides
sufcient current.
• Press the on/off switch to turn on the product. The status LED (7) lights up and the product
starts generating anions immediately. The anions escape from the ventilation slot into the
room.
• Turn off the product after use, and disconnect the power adapter from the wall socket, if not
using the product for a longer period of time.
Filter replacement / fragrance chamber
• Make sure the product is turned off.
• Carefully remove the lid (1).
• Replace the activated carbon lter (3), once the lter – and hence the product – starts
producing an unpleasant smell. Remove the lter and replace it with a new lter of identical
type. Cut the new lter in such a way, that it features the exact same dimensions as the old
one.
• Fill the fragrance chamber (8) with a few drops of your preferred essential oil. There is a
small sponge inside the fragrance chamber for absorbing the oil. Even when the product is
not switched on, the fragrance starts spreading through the ventilation slot. Once you switch
on the product, that effect will be further enhanced.
• Reinstall the lid. Position the lid at an angle, thereby inserting the short lug into the rear
opening. Carefully press down the lid, until the long lug (2) locks into the front opening.
Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
The status LED does not light up. The
product does not turn on.
Check the cable for correct connection.
The airow reduces. The noise gets louder. Replace the lter. Clean the ventilation slot.
