The exhaust hose adapter (8) is intended for connecting a suitable window mount (not included). Such

window mounts are available in specialist shops. The following pictures show examples of a window mount

for sliding windows.

 Youmayalsoguidetheexhausthosethroughthewindowwithoutusingawindowmount.Closethewindow

as tight as possible. Make sure not to squeeze the hose or hence damaging it.

11. Remote control

• Removethebatterycompartmentlid.

• Insert 2 AAA batteries and heed correct polarity. Heed correct polarity as indicated in the battery compartment.

• Closethebatterycompartment.

 Changethebatterieswhentheproductnolongerrespondstocommandsfromtheremotecontrol.

 AlwayspointtheremotecontroldirectlyattheredIRreceiveronthetopoftheproduct.

• Connectthepowerplugtoacommonhouseholdpoweroutlet.

• Asignalsounds.Furthermore,theindicatorlampsandthedisplaylightupbriey.Theproductistheninstandby
