14. Draining condensation
• When in cooling mode, it is not necessary to install a drainage hose. Make sure both discharge holes (5+7) are
properly closed by the rubber plug.
• When in heating mode, install a suitable drainage hose (internal Ø 15.6 mm; not included) to the top discharge
hole(5).Thatwillincreaseefciency.Removetherubberplugbeforehand.
• When in dehumidifying mode, install a suitable drainage hose (internal Ø 15.6 mm; not included) to the top
dischargehole(5).Thatwillincreaseefciency.Removetherubberplugbeforehand.Guidethewateroutsideor
into a suitable drain. Also remove the exhaust hose from the product.
• When the internal water tray is full, E4 will appear in the display. In such a case, remove the rubber plug from the
bottom discharge hole (7) to drain the water. You may restart the product afterwards.

16. Cleaning and care
a) General
Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions
since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning.
• Cleantheproductwithadry,bre-freecloth.
