11. Pairing
In this chapter you will pair each sensor with the gateway, which
establishes a unique communication channel for the sensor.
a) Before you start
• Connect the gateway to the power supply.
• Ensure all sensors are equipped with batteries.
b) Pair sensor
It is possible to add a sensor via the app interface
insteadofthetouchbuttononthegateway.Refertothe
app instruction manual for details.
Repeatthefollowingstepsforeachsensor:
1. Put your nger on the touch button on the gateway for 5
seconds. The gateway plays the pairing tune and the indicator
lightashesgreenandfast.
- If you do not pair the sensor within 60s, the gateway exits
pairingmode.Restarttheprocedureifneeded.
2. Press the pairing button on the sensor. Use the supplied pin
if necessary.
3. Upon successful pairing:
- Gatewayplaysconrmationtune.
- The indicator light on the gateway goes off.
