10.5 Install batteries

• If an insulation strip is visible after unpacking a sensor, pull the strip to activate the battery(ies). In this case battery

installation is not necessary.

• Observe the battery polarity as indicated in battery compartment/housing/diagram.

• If the sensor no longer reacts, replace the battery(ies).

10.6 Placement/Installation

Attention! Have the sensor(s) mounted by a professional if you are not familiar with the installation

process and the dangers involved.

• Make use of the supplied installation material.

• Keep the sensors within receiving distance of the gateway. Refer to chapter 10.9 Technical data on page 16 for

details.
