- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, safety or connection of the appliance.
• Maintenance, modications and repairs must only be completed by a technician or an authorised repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical support
service or other technical personnel.
6.2 Environments
• Unless otherwise mentioned in the operating instructions, the product may only be used in dry interiors; it must not
get damp or wet!
• Unless otherwise mentioned in the operating instructions, never position the product in direct vicinity of a bathtub,
shower, bathroom, swimming pool, or similar.
• Do not operate the device in environments where there are high levels of dust, ammable gases, vapours or sol-
vents. There is a danger of re and explosion!
• The product is suitable for use only in moderate climates, not tropical climates.
• The product is not designed to be used in explosive environments.
6.3 Institutions
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Radiowaves may interfere with medical equipment. The
same may also apply to other areas.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association for
Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities are to be observed!
6.4 Batteries
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting batteries.
• Batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to avoid damage through
leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with skin, therefore use suitable
protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there is risk, that children
or pets swallow them.
• If your device uses more than one battery, they should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries
in the device can lead to battery leakage and device damage.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into re. Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
There is a risk of explosion!
