17.7 Operation
17.7.1 How it works
This product can send push notications to your mobile device.
The siren is controlled through the mobile app.
An input sensor (e.g. motion sensor) will trigger the siren through the Gateway (#1597115).
When the siren is triggered, the alarm sounds and the alarm light ashes according to the congurations made in
the app (Automation).
In case mains power supply to the siren is interrupted, the battery temporarily will power the siren (including alarm).
- If your area faces regular power cuts, it is necessary to replace the battery in shorter invervals. Refer to chapter
17.9 Technical data on page 37 for details on battery.
- Replace it at least once a year.
Tamper function: The tamper switch will trigger the siren if the siren is removed from its installation location. For
this to work, the siren must be paired and the Gateway connected to the Internet.
17.7.2 Indications
Indication Meaning
Alarm sounds and
alarm light ashes

Replace battery. See chapter 17.8.1 Replace the battery on page 37.
17.7.3 Stop the alarm
There are different methods to stop the alarm once the siren is paired with the app/gateway. Select the method that
is applicable to the trigger type:
Trigger type Method to stop alarm
Sensor Touch the touch button on the gateway.
Stop the alarm from the mobile app.
Tamper switch Hold down the tamper switch for 3 seconds. If you now release the switch the
siren sounds again.
Any trigger Disconnect the power supply cable from the power adapter and remove the back-
up battery. This permanently disables the alarm.
