Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
Never unplug the power adaptor from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use
the grips on the plug.
When setting up the product, make sure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or damaged
by sharp edges.
Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses
a risk of injury.
Completely unwind cables before use of the product.
For safety reasons, disconnect the power adaptor from the mains socket during storms.
If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not use the product any longer.
Switch off the mains socket to which the wall plug transformer is connected (switch off at the
corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, then switch off the earth leakage
circuit breaker). Unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket.
f) Batteries
Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the battery.
The battery should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to
avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when
in contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.
Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there
is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into re. Never recharge non-
rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
g) Handling and use
Caution, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into the beam directly
or with optical instruments!
Keep a safe distance to the product when it is triggered to avoid damage to hearing. Approach
it only with hearing protection.
h) Institutions
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s Liability
Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities are to be observed!
Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Radiowaves may interfere with
medical equipment. The same may also apply to other areas.
i) Maintenance and cleaning
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as they can damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair the operation.
Before you clean the product, disconnect it from the mains voltage.

Important information
Sygonix Home Siren

Intended use
The product is intended to be used as intruder protection or warning device. It does not replace a professional
security or warning system respectively.
The product requires the Sygonix Home Gateway (Item no. 1597115) to operate and is controlled via
mobile app (see chapter Mobile Application).
Install and operate the product indoors only. Only use the supplied wall plug transformer to operate the
product.
The product creates considerable noise when triggered, which is harmful to the human ear when exposed
for extended periods of time. When the siren is triggered, make sure you keep a safe distance to it or wear
hearing protection to approach it.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in the operating instructions.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the risk of short
circuits, re, electric shock, etc.

Safety instructions
Damages due to failure to follow the operating instructions will void the warranty! We do
not assume any liability for any resulting damage! We do not assume any liability for
material and personal damage caused by improper use or non-compliance with the safety
instructions. In such cases, the warranty will be null and void.
a) General
Unauthorised conversion and/or modication of the product is not allowed for safety and
approval reasons.
The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children! Children do not realise
the danger arising from the incorrect use of electrical devices. In addition, the product contains
small parts and batteries. Therefore, be especially careful when children are around!
Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a dangerous
plaything for children.
If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be turned off
and precautions must be taken to ensure that it is not used unintentionally.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage
- the product does not work at all or works poorly
- the product was stored for a longer period of time in unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
If you have any questions that are not answered in the operating instructions, please contact
our technical department or another specialist.
b) Installation location
This product must be installed and used only in dry conditions indoors. The product must
not get damp or wet, as the wall plug transformer can pose the risk of a fatal electric shock!
Do not use the product in rooms that are under adverse environmental conditions, where
combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of explosion!
The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or heavy
mechanical stress.
The product is suitable for use only in moderate climates, not tropical climates.
The product is not designed to be used in explosive environments.
c) Drilling
When you screw or drill, make sure that no cable or pipes are damaged when drilling and
tightening the screws.
d) Connection
Make sure that cables are not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
Always establish the power supply last, after all components are connected.
e) Mains adapter
Connect the mains adapter to a wall socket that can be accessed easily.
As power supply, only use the supplied mains adaptor.
Only connect the power adaptor to a normal mains socket connected to the public supply.
Before plugging in the power adaptor, check whether the voltage stated on the power adaptor
complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
