• If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not use the product any longer.
Switch off the mains socket to which the wall plug transformer is connected (switch off at the
corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, then switch off the earth leakage
circuit breaker). Unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket.
d) Connection
• Make sure that the cables are not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Always establish the power supply last, after all components are connected.
e) Handling and use
• Caution, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into the beam directly
or with optical instruments!
Installation and Connection
Danger of injury/electric shock: When you screw or drill, make sure that no cable or pipes are
damaged when drilling and tightening the screws.
a) Mounting the controller
Before you start the installation, keep in mind that the controller (3) must be placed so that
awless signal reception is possible. Make sure to install the controller within the signal
reception range (see section “Technical data”).
The controller can be screwed tight via the two eyes (4) located on the housing. Depending on the mounting
site, you can also fasten it with cable ties or a suitable double-sided adhesive tape.
b) Installing the LED strip
Warning! Completely unwind the LED strip before operating.
The LED strip must be mounted in such a way that it is not exposed to mechanical stress. It may
not be mounted so that someone can step on it; that will damage it.
• The LED strip (6) can be mounted on suitable surfaces, such as furniture or similar objects, using the
adhesive tape located on the bottom side.
• Carefully clean the surface onto which you want to mount the LED strip from dust, dirt and grease before
mounting, otherwise the adhesive tape will come off the surface.
• Remove part of the protective strip and stick the LED strip onto the mounting surface one section at a time.
Do not use force when pressing down.
• The LED strip can be cut at cutting locations marked with
(8).
- Note: If you intend to re-use the cut off segment, you can purchase necessary connectors at a specialist
shop. Consult a specialist if you are not familiar with attaching the connectors.
• Do not extend the LED strip with other LED strips.
c) Connecting the LED strip
• Align the arrow on LED strip and controller connection cable and connect (1). Do not apply force so as
not to damage the pins.
• Connect the cable of the mains adapter to the controller cable (5).
Operation
• Completely unwind the cable of the wall plug transformer.
• Connect the wall plug transformer to a proper mains socket of the public supply network.
• The LED strip lights up. The power indicator light
(2) on the controller is on.
• Refer to the corresponding app manual to learn more about WLAN setup and operation of the product in
combination with the mobile app.
• If you do not wish to control the product via mobile app, turn it on and off by connecting/disconnecting the
mains adapter to/from mains supply.

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as they can damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair the operation.
• Before you clean the product, disconnect it from the mains voltage.
• The product is maintenance-free. The built-in LEDs are permanently installed and cannot be replaced.
• The outside of the product should only be cleaned with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
