Intended use
This wireless plug-in dimmer switch is intended for turning connec-
ted on or off consumer loads, either manually, via a push button on
the device, or via a suitable remote switch. Furthermore, the wireless
plug-in dimmer switch or the consumer connected to it (lamp) can also
be dimmed with a suitable wireless transmitter (e.g. wireless hand-
held transmitter).
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with
moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or mo-
dify this product. If you use the product for purposes other than those
described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, re, electric shock
etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product
available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

cially observe the safety information. If you do not fol-
low the safety instructions and information on proper
handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any
resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such
cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) General
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may
become dangerous playing material for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight,
strong jolts, high humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours and
solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can
no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions
or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even
from a low height can damage the product.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other de-
vices which are connected to the product.
Check the product for damage before each use! If you notice any
damage, do not use the product any longer! There is a risk of a life-
threatening electric shock!
Ensure that the insulation for the entire product is neither damaged
nor destroyed. Never disassemble the product! The casing does not
contain any serviceable parts.
Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although
the product emits only relatively weak radio signals, these may lead
to the malfunction of life-support systems. The same may possibly
be the case in other areas.
Keep the product away from strong magnetic elds occurring near
machines, electric motors or loudspeakers.
The wireless plug-in dimmer is designed in accordance with pro-
tection class I. Only a standard mains socket (230V/AC, 50Hz with
protective earth) for the public supply grid may be used as the pow-
er source for the wireless plug-in dimmer switch.
The power socket in which the switch socket is plugged must be
easily accessible.
The handheld transmitter is powered by a 12 V battery (type “23 A”).
The wireless plug-in dimmer switch is not suitable for connection to
inductive consumers.
The product is equipped with an enhanced protection against acci-
dental contact. An integrated mechanism will release the holes of
the receptacle only, if the two prongs of a power plug are inserted
into the two holes at once.
Take special caution when children are around. Children cannot
recognize the danger arising from the incorrect use of electrical de-
vices. There is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
The wireless remote control and the wireless plug-in dimmer switch
are only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
Never touch the product and the mains plug, when it is plugged into
the mains socket, with wet or damp hands when trying to connect
to the wireless plug-in dimmer switch. There is a risk of a lethal
electric shock!
Never remove a mains plug from the wireless plug-in dimmer switch
by pulling on the power cable. Always pull the plug from the socket,
in the wireless plug-in dimmer switch, using the gripping surface
provided on the side.
Do not put more than one adaptor onto the unit!

The unit is only without current, when the main plug is disconnected
from the outlet.
Do not overload the wireless plug-in dimmer switch (take note of
the input power in the technical data at the end of the operating
manual!).
The mains socket to which you connect the device must be easily
accessible.
If the product casing is damaged, do not use the product any more!
When it is connected to the mains, do not touch the wireless plug-in
dimmer switch or the connected device! First of all, disconnect all
pins of the mains socket, to which the radio-controlled socket dim-
mer is connected (disable the associated Miniature Circuit Breaker
(MCB) and Residual Current Operated Circuit Breaker (RCCB)).
You can then remove the wireless plug-in dimmer switch from the
mains socket. Take the product to a specialist workshop or dispose
of it in an environmentally friendly way.
Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connec-
tion of the device.
Maintenance, modications and repairs are to be performed exclu-
sively by an expert or at a qualied shop.

b) Batteries
Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the battery.
The battery should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long
period of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged
batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with skin, therefore
use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.
Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batte-
ries lying around, as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into
re. Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of
explosion!
Operating elements
1 Keypad for switching channels 1 to 4 (left column “ON” = on,
right column “OFF” = off).
2 Selector switch for switching group
A total of 16 radio receivers (e. g. radio controlled sockets can
be connected). The 16 radio receivers are categorised into 4
switching groups; switching groups: 1-4, 5-8, 9-12 as well as
switching group 13-16.
3 “ALL-ON” button
Pressing this button activates all recognized receivers.
4 “ALL-OFF” button
Pressing this button deactivates all recognized receivers.
5 Control LED (lights up when the buttons are used).
6 Button/LED “ON/OFF/INDICATOR”
By using this button, the radio controlled socket can be activated
or deactivated manually. This button also serves as the program-
ming button.
7 Front socket for connecting a consumer load.
Inserting/replacing the batteries
Open the battery compartment on the back of the handheld radio
transmitter and insert a 12 V-battery (type “23 A”) with the correct po-
larity (pay attention to the diagram in the battery compartment). Close
the battery compartment.
The batteries need to be replaced if the range of the
handheld radio transmitter is signicantly reduced or the
control LED (5) no longer lights when the buttons are
used.
