 Electronicdevicesarerecyclablewasteandmustnotbeplacedinhouseholdwaste.
Attheendofitsservicelife,disposeoftheproductinaccordancewithapplicable
regulatoryguidelines.
 Ifabatteryisinserted,removeitanddisposeofitseparatelyfromtheproduct.

Youastheenduserarerequiredbylaw(BatteryOrdinance)toreturnallusedbatteries/rechar-
geablebatteries.Disposingoftheminthehouseholdwasteisprohibited.
 Contaminated(rechargeable)batteriesarelabelledwiththissymboltoindicatethat
disposalinthedomesticwasteisforbidden.Theabbreviationsforheavymetalsin
batteriesare:Cd=Cadmium,Hg=Mercury,Pb=Lead(nameon(rechargeable)
batteries,e.g.belowthetrashiconontheleft).
Used(rechargeable)batteriescan bereturnedtocollection pointsinyourmunicipality,our
storesorwherever(rechargeable)batteriesaresold.Youthusfullyourstatutoryobligations
andcontributetoenvironmentalprotection.
Batteries/rechargeablebatteriesthataredisposedofshouldbeprotectedagainstshortcircuit
andtheirexposedterminalsshouldbecoveredcompletelywithinsulatingtapebeforedisposal.
Evenemptybatteries/rechargeablebatteriescancontainresidualenergythatmaycausethem
toswell,burst,catchreorexplodeintheeventofashortcircuit.
