10. Charging
The device will not charge via USB and solar panels simultaneously.
Before using for the rst time, it is recommended to completely charge the battery via
USB. The charging time is approximately 10 hours.
The device is not weatherproofed when the compartment cover (9) is open.
a) USB Charging
• Remove the compartment cover (9).
• Connect one end of the USB cable to the micro USB port (13) on your device, and the other
end to a suitable USB power supply.
• View the battery status via the “Smart Life” app.
• When charging is complete, close the compartment cover (9). Making sure there are no
gaps where water can enter.
b) Solar Panel
Charging Efciency
To maximize charging efciency, install the camera
where there is good exposure to sunlight. Make
sure the solar panels (5) are clean. Dirt and debris
covering the panels can reduce charging efciency.
Charging output:
- Low sunlight: Min 2 mA
- High sunlight: Max. 150 mA
