With the key lock activated, the display shows a small lock icon
next to the temperature.
Nothing happens anymore now when pushing the button “–” (5)
or “+” (6); when pushing the button “MENU” (3) or “OK” (2), the
display “CODE” appears and the number “0” fl ashes.
To revoke the key lock, enter the code “3” with the buttons “–” (5)
and “+” (6) and push the button “OK” (2).
The key lock is then deactivated again.
l) Function G12 “BACKLIGHT”
Every time a button is pushed, the backlighting is activated for 15
seconds and goes out automatically then (basic setting).
If desired, you may permanently deactivate backlighting.
Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function G12 “BACKLIGHT“ and confi rming
with “OK” (2), the display “SHORT” or “OFF” fl ashes.
2. Use the buttons “–” (5) and “+” (6) to switch between
“SHORT” and “OFF” now.
“SHORT” = Backlighting is activated for 15 seconds every time
a button is pushed
“OFF” = backlighting is switched off
3. Confi rm the selection with “OK” (2).
The universal thermostat is then in the previous menu for se-
lection of functions again.
To leave the menu and return to the regular display, push the
button “MENU” (3), repeatedly if required.
