10. Menu “INSTALL SETTINGS”
• Briefl y push the “MENU” button (3) as described in chapter
8. b). The bottom-most display line shows “USER SETTINGS”.
• Use the “–” (5) and “+” (6) buttons to switch between “USER
SETTINGS” and “INSTALL SETTIGNS”.
Select “INSTALL SETTINGS” and push the button “OK” (2).
• Then the buttons “–” (5) and “+” (6) can be used to select the
desired function (see following subchapters or short descrip-
tion in chapter 8. b).
• Confi rm the selection with “OK” (2).
• If you want to leave a function or the setting menu, push the
button “MENU” (3).
a) Function H1 “HEAT OR COOL”
The setting of this function decides on whether the universal ther-
mostat is operated in connection with a heating or cooling device.
Depending on the setting, the mains socket (and the connected
consumer) of the universal thermostat are activated or deacti-
vated accordingly when the measured temperature exceeds or
undercuts the value in the programming (as of which difference
depending on the hysteresis setting).
• “HEAT” = Heating mode
The mains socket is activated when the measured temperature
is below the value programmed.
Use this operating mode when the you want to control a heat-
ing.
• “COOL” = cooling mode
The mains socket is activated when the measured temperature
is above the value programmed.
Use this operating mode when the you want to control a cool-
ing device/fan.
