Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function H1 “HEAT OR COOL” and confi rm-
ing with “OK” (2), the display “HEAT” or “COOL” fl ashes at the
right edge of the display.
2. Use the buttons “–” (5) and “+” (6) to switch between “HEAT”
and “COOL” now.
“HEAT” = Heating mode
“COOL” = cooling mode
3. Confi rm the selection with “OK” (2).
The universal thermostat is then in the previous menu for se-
lection of functions again.
To leave the menu and return to the regular display, push the
button “MENU” (3), repeatedly if required.
When initially commissioning the universal thermostat,
always observer that the correct operating mode is set,
depending on whether you want to control a heating or
a cooling unit.
The basic pre-setting is “HEAT”.
