$ettin s for the recording format to a bmank disc
When inserting a bhnk disc, the
DVD recorder starts to initiaHize
the bhnk disc.
After that_ you can record to the
disc with the recording format
selected in SETUP menu.
You are allowed to set a specified
time for chapter marks.

Press SETUP button to dis-
play SETUP/DISC rnenuo
SETUP/DISC menu will appear.

Select "SETUP" using _/
buttons, then press ENTER

t_e_ press E_TE_ b_tto_o
Option window will appear,
i Setup > Recording
Video mode has been selected as
the default.

Select "Video mode" or "VR
mode" using A / _ buttons,
then press E_TE_ butto_
The recording mode will be set.

• When inserting a blank
DVD+R or DVD+R_Cv' disc,
the error message ("Disc
Error") will appear.This DVD
recorder is not compatible
with a DVD+R/RW disc.
• If using a DVDoRW (vet 1.0)
disc, recording wiil start in VR
mode even you choose video
mode in SETUP menu.
