Recordin_ from an external source

Before recording from an external source, see the instructions for the connection on page 37.

I° Turn the TV and the DVD recorder on, and be sure to select

the input of the TV to which the DVD recorder is connected.

2. Press OPEN/CLOSE _ button to open the disc tray_ then

place the disc to record properly.

3. Select the input of the DVD recorder which the external

equipment is connected° (L2 or LI)

"To use the input [acks on the back of this unit, se[ect"L[" position by

pressing [0], [0], [HI on the remote controH or the CH V / _ buttons.

.To use the input jacks on the front of this unit, seHect"L2" position by

pressing [0], [0], [2] on the remote controH or the CH V / A buttons.

4. Select a recording speed using REC SPEED button. Refer to

"Recording speed" on page 26.

S° Press REC button on the DVD recorder to start recording.

6. Press Play button on the external source to record from.

7. Press STOP lbutton on the DVD recorder _o stop record-

ing.
