Press POWER button on the
remote contro[ or the front
pane[ of the DVD recorder.
When you are playing a DVD, turn
theTV on and be sure to seHect
the input to which the DVD
recorder is connected.

Press OPIcNtCLOSI= _ but-
ton to open the disc tray°
The disc tray will open.

Place the disc onto the disc
tray with its label facing up
and make sure to align the
disc to the disc tray guide_

Press PLAY _ butto_ to start
playing.
Playing will start.
If you are playing a DVDoVideo
disc, a menu may appear.
Refer to pages 44°45 for details
about a disc menu.

Press STOP [] butto_ to stop
playing°

track or folder you want, then
press ENTER button.

* Press STOP button to return to
the first to the first item.
Hi_ts for NP3 files:
° Folders are known as Groups,
finesare known asTracks.
° Folders are accompaniedby _-q icon.
° HP3 filesare accompaniedby D icon.
Reproduction will start from the
selected track and go to the
next one in turn,
* Thesystem can recognizeupto 255
groups(or folders)andupto 255tracks.
oThe name of group and track can
be displayed in up to 32 characo
ters. Unrecognizable characters
will be replaced with asterisks.
* If there are no files in the folder.
"No Files" will be displayed.
Whe_ selecting track:
Playback will start.
Whe_ selecting the folder:
The files in folder will appear.
