Manage System Time Settings
To reach public time servers on the Internet, the gateway must be set on the AR 400 Reader system.
1. If you haven’t already done so, access the Reader Maintenance Console.
2. Click the Date/Time link on the left-hand side of any Reader Maintenance Console page. The
System Time Management page displays.
3. Type the address of the server you want to designate as your SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol)
Server in the SNTP Server Address field, and then click Set SNTP Parameters.
4. To set the date and time on the Reader, select the appropriate values from the Year, Month, Day,
Hour, Minute, and Second drop-down list boxes, and then click Set Date and Time.
