Chapter 6 Accessories
Introduction
FR6076 accessories, listed below, provide a variety of product support
capabilities.
• Single Slot USB/Serial Cradle - Charges the FR6076 main battery and a spare battery. Synchronizes the
FR6076 with a host computer through a USB connection.
• Four Slot Battery Charger - Charges spare standard and high capacity batteries.
• Auto Charge Cable - Plugs into a vehicle cigarette lighter to charge the FR6076 while on the road.
• Charge Only Cable - Provides power to the FR6076.
• USB Charging Cable - Provides power to the FR6076 and USB communication with a host computer.
• Headset - Used in noisy environments.
Single Slot USB/Serial Cradle
This section describes how to use a Single Slot USB/Serial cradle with the FR6076. For USB communication
setup procedures refer to the FR6076 Integrator Guide.
The Single Slot USB/Serial Cradle:
• Provides 5.4 VDC power for operating the FR6076.
• Synchronizes information between the FR6076 and a host computer. Refer to the FR6076 Integrator
Guide for information on setting up a partnership between the FR6076 and a host computer.
• Charges the FR6076’s battery.
• Charges a spare battery.
Charging the FR6076 Battery
Connect the cradle to power. Insert the FR6076 into the slot to begin charging.
Note : Please put the adaptor clip into the cradle before charging.
