5. To select the desired Bovie Bipolar Pulse On time, press the Coag Up or Down wattage power arrows. The user can select values
in 50 Millisecond increments between 0 – 1000ms. The default is 250 Milliseconds = .25 SEC.
6. The user Preset LED will be flashing if Pulse Time adjusted away from default.
7. The user can now select another parameter to edit but depressing the Cut up or down power arrows or can exit the Set-Up mode
by depressing the Set-Up button once.
Bovie Bipolar Pulse OFF Time Selection
The following steps describe how the user can select the desired Bovie Bipolar Pulse Off Time.
1. Depress the Set-Up button. Push Cut power arrows until [OFF] appears in left most display.
2. The Set-Up LED will be illuminated.
3. The 3 sets of 7-segment displays will update to show Bipolar information indicating the unit is in Bipolar Set-Up mode.
4. Press the Coag down wattage power arrow 21 times. The 3 sets of 7-segment displays will update to show the following: ---
indicated a value in milliseconds.
OFF --- SEC
5. To select the desired Bovie Bipolar Pulse Off time, press the Coag Up or Down wattage power arrows. The user can select values
between 0 – 1000ms. Default is 550 Milliseconds = 0.55 SEC.
6. The user Preset LED will be flashing if Pulse Time adjusted away from default.
7. Press and hold the Set button to save the parameter.
8. The user can now select another parameter to edit by depressing the Cut up or down power arrows or can exit the Set-Up mode
by depressing the Set-Up button once.
NOTICE:
To save the selected parameter, press and hold the Set button after each desired parameter
selection.
ACTIVATING THE UNIT

Activation Safety on page 13 of this section before activating the unit. When you turn on
your unit remember the following feature:
The Aaron® ORPRO 300 will power up to the modes and settings displayed when the unit was
last activated. For example, if you set Cut I mode at 50 watts and activate the unit, then turn the
unit off, it will automatically return to Cut I mode at 50 watts when you turn it on again. Similarly, if
you set Pinpoint mode at 40 watts and activate the unit before you turn it off, it will return to
Pinpoint mode at 40 watts when you turn it on again.
1. Monopolar Cut - select the mode of operation for Cut: Cut I, Cut II, or Blend (level 1-4) then select the desired Cut power settings
by pressing the up and down buttons next to the Cut power output display.
2. If using Blend, vary the Blend level by pressing the up and down buttons to the right of the Blend mode level indicator.
3. Monopolar Coag - select the mode of operation for coagulation: Pinpoint, Spray or Gentle, then select the coagulation power set-
tings by pressing the up and down buttons to the right of the Coag power output display.
4. Bipolar - Select the Mode of Operation for Bipolar output (Macro, Micro, Standard, BBp), the Bipolar power settings by pressing
the up and down buttons next to the Bipolar power output display.
