MOUNT CHIME BASE
Determine mounting location. Note: The back of the chime base is
recessed to allow the base to cover the wire hole in the wall when
mounting the base to the wall.
• Place chime against wall and verify the chime is level. Note: See
chime base for correct orientation.
• Use all 4 chime mounting holes as a template (see Figure 11).
• Drill 7/32" (5.5 mm) diameter pilot holes for wall anchors (pro-
vided) and insert anchors. Note: Always use wall anchors if not
mounting directly into a stud.
• If the chime is wired to a transformer, route wires through wire
entrance hole in new chime base.
• Verify chime is level and tighten screws securely.
• If the chime is battery operated, install batteries.
• Press chime cover onto chime base.
