CHECKLIST
IMPORTANT INFO
• It is highly recommended that you paint/nish our pediments before installation.
• Once installed, you can apply any necessary touch‐up paint/nish.
• Clean installation surface and pediment of all dirt and dust with a clean cloth or dry sponge.
• Measure and mark the location where the pediment is going to be installed.
• All PVC pediments are for decorative use only.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure to use the correct tools recommended.
Wear safety goggles.
Follow xture, power tools, and paint manufacturers’ instructions and users manuals.
Use common sense and follow good construction practices.
Brackets are not load‐ bearing, decorative use only.

Solid Decorative Pediments
1. MARK INSTALLATION AREA- Select the location for your
Decorative Millwork. Hold the millwork in place and mark
the location with a pencil.
2. APPLY ADHESIVE- Apply a 1/4” bead of PL Premium
Adhesive to only the portion of the millwork surface that
will touch the mounting surface.
3. FASTEN MILLWORK INTO PLACE- Press the millwork in
place using the pencil marks as guides. Fasten securely
with nails or screws. Countersink fasteners and ll holes
with caulk or wood ller.
4. FILL GAPS- If desired, caulk around millwork, lling any
gaps between millwork and mounting surfaces.
5. FINISH AS DESIRED- Sand any lled holes and touch up
with paint or other nishes, as desired.

ecorations are screwed to the soffit, the bottom board of the
eave. The fascia (eave face board) usually overhangs the
soffit by a small amount.They are normally installed below
and immediately behind the fascia. That is, they are mounted
out from the wall, suspended just behind the front edge of the
eave.
