1. The Use of Windshield
Mic-E10 comes with the Cotton Windshield to eliminate the noise caused by wind while recording. Please
install the windshield to the microphone as shown below.
2. Mounting the Mic-E10 Microphone
The Mic-E10 is supplied with a H-25 Mount (5/8” & 3/8” screw accessible) for attaching accessories like
boompole, mic stand.
3. Powering the Mic-E10 Microphone
The Mic-E10 requires 48V DC phantom power or one 1.5V AA battery.
For accessories with 3/8” screw, tighten the accessory with the H-25 mount directly.
For accessories with 5/8” screw, unscrew and remove the 3/8” thread and connect with the accessory
via 5/8” screw.
For devices WITH 48V phantom power like audio mixer, connect the Mic-E10 with your devices via XLR
audio cable (not included) and power the microphone with the device.
(Note: Please do not install battery in the battery plate when using phantom power. Connect all cables
before supplying phantom power to the microphone and never remove the microphone cable while
the power is connected.)
Place the microphone into the mount with the ON/OFF switch facing upwards as shown below. Make
sure the mount 󽗉rmly secure the microphone in place.
For devices WITHOUT 48V phantom power like DSLR, camera and camcorder, please use a 1.5V AA
battery to power the microphone. Install the battery in the battery plate as shown below. Then connect
the microphone with your devices via XLRM to 3.5mm Cable or XLR audio cable.
(Note: XLRM to 3.5mm Cable (included) is for devices with 3.5mm jack, like DSLR and camera. The
devices with XLR connector require XLR audio cable but not included.)
Slide the ON/OFF switch to ON side to turn on the microphone.
