the screen. If the camera lens was occluded or lost its focus by people trying to avoid surveillance, Smart Search
can also help you find out when the situations happened. For more information, click the Help button at the top-

Export Events
Go to Event > Export under Management to export the events. You can export events from Surveillance Station
to any shared folder or to an external storage device via USB or eSATA interface. For more information, click the
Help button (with a question mark) at the top-right corner.
Mount Events
Go to Event > Mount under Management to mount exported events. You can mount exported archives onto
Surveillance Station. The events in the mounted archive can be played in Event Management and Timeline
page. For more information, click the Help button (with a question mark) at the top-right corner.
Manage Notification Settings
Go to Notifications > Email, SMS, or Push Service to have Surveillance Station send you notification
messages to via email, SMS, mobile devices or instant messaging programs whenever important events occur.
You can decide which types of events to be notified at Notification > Settings under Management.
Settings
Surveillance Station can send you a system notification via e-mail, SMS message, mobile device, MSN (Windows
Live Messenger), and Skype, whenever important events occur.
Note: Make sure you have set up email (at Notification > Email), SMS (at Notification > SMS), mobile device,
MSN, or Skype (at Notification > Push Service) settings before specifying notification types and schedule on this
page.
To select event notification types:
1 Tick the checkboxes to select the types of events that will trigger Surveillance Station to send notification
messages.
