Genie Mini II An extremely easy-to-use device for creating smooth panning motion time-lapse or real-time video. Wirelessly connect to the Genie Mini using the Genie App for quick setup and simple motion control. Charging 1 Plug the USB cable into a wall charger, laptop or USB port. Orange light indicates charging, green is charged 2 Plug the USB-C plug into the Genie Mini charging port.
Mount the Genie Mini II 1 Screw the Genie Mini II to a tripod head or tripod legs. The thread adapter in the base can be used for smaller threads. 2 Screw your camera to the top of the Genie Mini II.
Shutter Control 1 Plug the 2.5mm end of you Link Cable (sold separately) into the camera port on the Genie Mini II. 2 Plug the other end into the remote port on your camera. Consult your camera manual to find the correct port.
Camera Control 1 Plug the USB-C end of the USB-C to USB-A Female Cable into the USB-C port on the Genie Mini II.
Device Connection 1 Turn bluetooth ON on your device. in the settings menu 2 Download and open the Genie App. 3 Press the power button Mini II once to turn it on.
App Connect CONNECTION CREATE CONTENT 1 Tap the icon COMMUNITY TUTORIALS CONNECTION GENIE MINI Panning 2 Select your Genie Mini II
Firmware Update XXXXX XXX 1 Tap the icon to update firmware Up to date vX.

Genie Mini II Quick Tips Always set your camera and lens to manual focus (MF), if set to Auto Focus (AF) the camera can misfire leading to missed frames. Turn image review OFF on your camera. On some cameras image review can cause missed frames in your time-lapse. Once you begin a time-lapse or video recording you can leave the App and disconnect, your move will continue to run as normal. Press the power button once to turn the Genie Mini II on.
Firmware Tips The App will alert you if a new firmware update is available. If you have trouble updating the Firmware try these tips: Retry updating the device by tapping the icon Force the device into factory mode by holding down the power button for more than 10 seconds when the device is off. Release the power button once all the LED’s start flashing at the same time.
