Instruction how to use sealing compound when changing spare parts!
The work must be carried out by a qualified person.
Before the work, disconnect the power supply.
Exchange of motor/fanblade or removal of the junction box.
Apply sealing compound on the screws that hold the motor to the protective grill. Apply
about 10mm up on the threads, be careful so that sealing compound doesn´t come into the
motor, see fig 1.
Apply sealing compound inside the gland through which the motor cable and the capillary
tube goes, and on the two screw holes that go into the junction box, see fig 2.
If the junction box has been removed, apply sealing compound on the screws, about
10mm up on the threads when assembling.
Change of thermostat.
Apply sealing compound inside the gland through which the motor cable and the capillary
tube goes, and on the two screw holes that go into the junction box, see fig 2.
Change of thermostat on the F6 / F9 and ELF623/ELF923 230V3~ fans.
Apply sealing compound in the junction box around the bulb holder inside the junction
box, see fig 4.
Fix the bulb by pushing it into the bulb holder, see fig 5.
Fasten the bulb with two-component adhesive, see fig 6.
Put the locking ring on the bulb, see fig 7.
Change of overheating cut-out.
Apply sealing compound on the two screw holes that go through the junction box, see
fig 3. Do not forget to put on the new gasket on the overheating cut-out.

The working procedure above is made to keep the high IP class of the fan.
