The control cabinet extension kit provides the possibility to mount the control cabinet separated from the air handling unit, for example on a nearby wall or similar location.

Control cabinet extension kit 2 (5) Prepare air handling unit for installation of control cabinet extension kit 1 Open the doors to the air handling unit. Remove the filters if necessary for easy access. Disconnect the cabling connectors (1) that connect the control cabinet and the air handling unit. 1 1 Location of cabling connectors differ between air handling units, see pos 1 for location. Remove the outer cable grommet on the air handling unit’s casing.

Control cabinet extension kit 3 (5) Prepare the control cabinet for the control cabinet extension kit Loosen the screws to open the control cabinet’s lid. Note: Save the screws to the lid, they will be reused. Remove the control cabinet from the air handling unit. • For Topvex SC/TC, SR 20–60 Unscrew the control cabinet. • For Topvex SR 80–100, TR 20–80 the control cabinet is loosely placed on top of the air handling unit at delivery.

Control cabinet extension kit 4 (5) Connect the control cabinet extension kit in the air handling unit Lead extension kit cables through air handling unit. Location are on the gable of the unit, close to the internal electrical cabinet or on top of the air handling unit. Connect the 4 cabling connectors in the air handling unit with the corresponding cabling connectors on the extension kit. Attach the PE cable. The location in the air handling unit is marked with protective earth symbol.

Control cabinet extension kit 5 (5) Connect control cabinet extension kit to control cabinet 1 2 Connect the 4 cabling connectors in the control cabinet with the corresponding cabling connectors on the extension kit. Attach the PE (1) and shielded cable (2). The use of shielded cable applies for all Topvex units.
