MEMORY FUNCTION ON POWER FAILURE
On power failure, settings and congurations are preserved in
the controller in a so-called non-volatile memory (EEPROM). All
changes made to the settings and conguration is saved in the
memory, which means that the latest values are always stored.
Measured values, as well as other variables that change often,
are not stored.
Values can be saved up to approximately 100 000 times in the
non-volatile memory. Therefore, changed values should not
systematically and very often be sent to the controller via net-
work communication. Normal changes may still be sent via the
network; for example if the operating mode is changed a few
times per day.
Example
Activation of Bypass is not stored in the memory. Instead, the
controller will return to the preset operating mode after power
failure. However, the set operating mode will be saved if central
control is being used (parameter 47).
