1 Description Air curtain with DX heat exchanger in combination with a DX heat pump. The temperature is controlled via the internal temperature sensor of the control unit or alternatively via an external temperature sensor. 2 Safety Instructions Read this manual carefully. This manual contains helpful hints for a proper installation.
Note on fluorinated greenhouse gases 1. This air conditioner contains fluorinated greenhouse gases. Specific information on the type of gas and the quantity can be found on the nameplate of the device. 2. Installation, service, maintenance and repair of this unit must be performed by a certified technician. 3. The product must be uninstalled and recycled by a certified technician. 4. If the unit is tested for leakage, proper documentation of all checks is strongly recommended.
Refrigeration pipework CAUTION All pipe connections must be carried out by a qualified refrigeration, air conditioning specialist. The relevant local and national regulations must be observed. Do not allow air, dust or other contaminants to enter the pipe system during installation. The suction and liquid lines must be insulated, otherwise condensation may occur.. 4.
4.2 VRF Outdoor Unit (R410A) Establish a refrigeration connection between the air curtain and the outdoor unit in accordance with the installation instructions for the various products. 4.2.1 Refrigerant Refill quantity (R410A) The additional refrigerant quantity depends on the length and diameter of the outdoor and indoor unit pipelines. The table under 4.2.1 shows the additional refrigerant quantity per meter of equivalent pipe length for different pipe diameters.
5 Electrical wiring 5.1 Connecting of the power to the air curtain The air curtain needs a 230V/1Ph/50Hz power supply. 5.2 Connecting of the power to the DX outdoor unit Depending on the version, the DX outdoor units require a 230V/1Ph/50Hz or 400V/3Ph/50Hz power supply. 5.
5.4 Communication cable between air curtain and control unit Connect clamp 1 of the air curtain to clamp 1 of the control unit 1, 2 to 2, etc. To do this, use the supplied cable. 5.5 Connection of external temperature sensors The external temperature sensor is required if the control unit cannot be installed in the same room as the air curtain. The external temperature sensor must be located in the room in which the air curtain is mounted.
6 Parameterization of the controls 6.1 Parameterization Mono Split Anlage 6.1.1 Print Türluftschleier Before switching on the power supplies, the ENC selector switch on the circuit board of the air curtain must be set to the appropriate power according to the table below.
