3.5.1 Installation Procedure

Prepare the surface where the unit is to be mounted. Make sure that the surface is at, level and that it
supports the weight of the unit. Perform the installation in accordance with local rules and regulations.

Lift the unit into place.
Warning
Beware of sharp edges during the mounting and maintenance. Make sure that a proper lifting device is
used. Use protective clothing.

Level the unit with the help of the enclosed
mounting feet

Connect the unit electrically to the main power
through the all pole circuit breaker (safety switch),
which is enclosed inside the unit on delivery. The
wiring is led through the top of the unit casing
directly to the electrical connection box.

Warning
The unit’s electrical connection to the main
power supply must be preceded by an all pole
circuit breaker with a minimum 0.1” (3 mm) gap.
Danger
Make sure that the main power supply to the
unit is disconnected before performing any
maintenance or electrical work!
All electrical connections must be carried out
by an authorized installer and in accordance
with local rules and regulations.

Warning
In order for the unit to be considered safely installed the doors if equipped with handles have to be
locked with a key to prevent unauthorized or accidental opening
The unit must be duct connected or in some other way provided with protection so that it is not
possible to come in contact with the fans through the duct connections
The unit is heavy. Be careful during transport and mounting. Risk of injury through pinching. Use
protective clothing.

Caution
If the unit is installed in a cold place make sure that all joints are covered with insulation, and tape well
Duct connections/duct ends should be covered during storage and installation
Do not connect tumble dryers to the ventilation system
Take care not to damage the water battery when connecting water pipes to connectors. Use a
spanner to tighten the connection.
