10 | AJR Jet Fan
7.4.1 Air Gap
Ensure that the air gap between the housing and the impeller is complied with.
7.4.2 Vibration dampers
• Use vibration isolators dampers suitable for the respective product weight, as needed.
A supplemental restraint shall be used to accomplish the support and restraint.
7.4.3 Resonance frequencies
Avoid resonant frequencies
The minimum fan speed should be double the resonance frequency of the anti-vibration system (vibration isolators).
7.5 Deectors
• For optimal guidance of the air current, a deflector made of galvanized steel sheet can be mounted on the pressure-
side silencer (accessory).
The deflector is an accessory for the AJR and delivered in a separate package.
• Before installing the jet fan, fasten the deflector on the silencer of the pressure side.Position the deflector fins so
that after fastening the jet fan to the ceiling, the airflow is directed downwards at a 10° angle or as specified by the
schedule.
Important
Risk of damage to the fan due to incorrect vibration dampers.
Important
Risk of damage to the fan due to resonance frequencies.
