External louver
Function
The external louver PZ protects the outside supply
and exhaust wall openings against water penetration.
It also blocks the view into the inside of the duct.
The water is blocked from entering the duct with air
speed up to 3 m/s. The inner frame has build in ledge
to avoid water penetration across the louver frame.
Design
PZ is available in many different versions. PZAL
and PZALS are fully manufactured from natural anodized
aluminium. PZZN and PZZNS are manufactured
from galvanized steel sheet. All PZ louvers are available
with normal spacing or with wide blade spacings. All
louvers can be delivered with welded 10 x 10 mm mesh
screen. PZAL-40 is special aluminium version with 40
mm outside frame. PZAL-40-F is special aluminium
version with G-4 lter included.
All aluminium louvers are provided in natural anodized
surface nish as standard. Steel louvers are provided
without any surface nish as standard. All louvers can be
powder painted to any RAL code specied by customer.
Louvers can be manufactured from Stainless steel
and copper if requested please contact your Systemair
representative for this option.
Accessories
Mounting frame is available for the PZ louver as an
accessory. There are two different frames available; one
for standard for the normal spaced blades louver (UR-
LxH-PZ) and one for wide spaced blades louver (UR-LxH-
PZS). Mounting frame is manufatured from galvanized
steel and incorporates screw holes for easy xing in duct
and bendable legs for easy xing into the wall.

Accessories - Mounting frame
Mounting
The PZ louver can be xed into the end of the duct
with help of the mounting frame and xing screws
through side openings. If placed into the wall build
the bendable legs of mounting frame into the wall.
Then x the louver into the mounting frame through
holes in the sides of the louver.
Cleaning
For aluminium louver use warm water and cloth for
cleaning. For the steel louver regular repainting is
required to keep good aesthetic look.
