Condensation detector for Argus controllers

CS-1 is a condensation detector for detecting

condensation water on pipes or other surfaces. It is

intended for the controllers from the Argus series.

Function

Connect CS-1 to the controller that is used to control the

cooling valve. Then attach the detector element to the

surface you wish to monitor, see the picture below.

The detector has two separated copper strips. When a

drop of condensation comes in contact with the strips,

they are short circuited and a signal is sent to the

controller to close the valve.
