The EVS automatically controls the speed of single phase
(230 Vac – 50 Hz) voltage controllable electric motors with a
0-10 Vdc or 0-20 mA control signal selectable by switch 19. It
is possible to invert the control signal to 10..0 Vdc/20..0 mA
by switch 16.
To power on, an external switch on the power supply is pro-
vided. A supplementary terminal block is foreseen to branch
off 230 Vac not controlled for 3-wire motor connection, a
telltale or to control a valve or damper.
There are two working modes, internally selectable by switch 18.
a) Kick start: the motor will always start (or restart) at max.
speed for 10 seconds, after that the motor speed automati-
cally follows the position set by the 0-10 Vdc or 0-20 mA
control signal. b) Without kick (soft) start: the motor starts
according to the position set by the 0-10 Vdc or 0-20 mA
control signal.
Mounting
The controllers are to be mounted on a smooth surface.
Connect voltage supply, motor(s) and earth as shown in the
scheme with cables of the proper diameter. On the mains
side, a safety
breaker with recommended pre-fuses has to
be installed.

Transport and stock keeping
Avoid shocks. Stock in original packing. Avoid extreme condi-
tions.
Warranty
Two years from delivery date against defects in manufactur-
ing. Any modifications or alterations to the product relieve
the manufacturer of all responsibility.
The manufacturer bears no responsibility for any misprints
or mistakes in this data, and modifications or improvements
to the product can be made at any time after date of pub-
lication.
Maintenance
In normal conditions the controllers are maintenance-free.
If soiled clean with dry or dampish cloth. In case of heavy
pollution clean with a non-aggressive product. In these cir-
cumstances the controller should be disconnected from the
mains. Pay attention that no fluids enter the controller. Only
reconnect the controller to the mains when it is completely
dry.
All works may only be carried out by skilled perso-
nnel following the local regulations and AFTER the
controller is completely separated from the mains.
Replace fuse only with same type and rating.

De EVS regelt automatisch de snelheid van monofasige span-
ningsregelbare elektromotoren (230 Vac - 50 Hz) met een 0-10
Vdc of 20 mA-regelsignaal (instelbaar door schakelaar 19). Het
stuursignaal kan geïnverteerd worden naar 10..0 Vdc/20..0 mA
door schakelaar 16. Om in werking te stellen is een externe
schakelaar voorzien. Een extra aansluitblok is voorzien als 230
Vac (niet-geregeld) voor driedraads motoraansluiting, een ver-
klikkerlampje of klep.
Er zijn twee werkmodes, intern in te stellen door schakelaar
18. 1. ‘Harde start: de motor start (of herstart) altijd met max.
snelheid voor 10 seconden, daarna volgt de motor automatisch
de positie bepaald door het 0-10 Vdc of 0-20 mA stuursignaal.
2. Normale start: de motor start volgens de de positie bepaald
door het 0-10 Vdc of 0-20 mA stuursignaal.
Montage
De regelaars zijn op een vlakke wand te monteren. Sluit de
netvoeding, motor(en) en aarding aan met kabels van de ge-
paste diameter op de aansluitklemmen volgens schema. Aan
de netzijde dient een hoofdschakelaar voorzien te worden met
aanbevolen hoofdzekeringen.

Calculation formula
Produkte. Achtung das keine Flüssigkeiten in den Reg-
ler eindringen. Nur einschalten, wenn der Regler kom-
plett getrocknet ist.
Motorschutz
Es ist immer empfohlen ein angepaßte Motorschutz
vor zu sehen.
Alle Arbeiten sind aus zu führen durch fachfä-
hig Personal den örtlichen Vorschriften zufol-
ge und NACHDEM der Regler völlig vom Netz
ist getrennt. Die Sicherung nur wechseln mit
den gleichen Typ und Wert.
