/ 21 | Variable Air Volume Control Description Single or double skin circular VAV terminal units are commonly used for return air applications or for supply applications at low system pressures. OPTIMA terminal units are ideal for single zone control with supply and return in Master and Slave setup such as offices, hotel rooms or meeting rooms where the required cooling and heating load will vary on demand.

Variable Air Volume Control Controls BLC1 The VAV terminal units are as standard equipped with BLC (Belimo compact) controllers (LMV-D3 or NMV-D3) without any BUS communication capability to be used as stand alone or in master and slave setting. The compact controllers are equally available with MP-BUS, MODBUS, KNX and LON communication capability.

Variable Air Volume Control | 21 / 21 Installation, maintenance and operation Optima-R is mounted directly in a spiro duct by a rubber gasket tight connection. Opreration temperature range: -20 °C ... +70 °C in the duct, -20 °C ... +50 °C on the actuator. Important: In installations with higher hygienic standards like hospitals the service openings for cleaning shall be foreseen in the duct closely in front and behind the VAV unit.
