7 Troubleshooting
The following applies in case the fan has stopped:
Try to restart the fan by cutting the power a couple of minutes.
Ensure that the impeller is not locked. Disconnect the power supply, remove any obstacles. Check that the fan starts
after reconnecting the current. Should the fan not start please contact your place of purchase.
8 Accessories
Danger
Make sure that the mains supply to the unit is disconnected before performing any maintenance or
electrical work!
All electrical connections must be carried out by an authorized installer and in accordance with local rules
and regulations.
8.1 Controllers
8.1.1 MTP 10/10K Proportional speed controller
Speed controller for the manual control of speed and airflow of Cupboard fans.

Installation and connection
1. Remove the cover of junction box (pos. 1) by turning four locks in each corner from position 1 to 0.
2. Pull out potentiometer connected to sockets 2, 3 and 4 on the terminal block.
3. Connect + (4) on the accessory to socket 3 on the terminal block.
4. Connect (5) on the accessory to socket 2 on the terminal block.
5. Connect Us marked wire to socket 4 on the terminal block.
6. Place back the cover of junction box and lock it.
Cupboard fans can be controlled with an external controller now.
8.1.2 MTP 20 3-Step Controller
A 3–step potentiometer for speed control with on and off function. The 10 V supply voltage is converted into three
steps to obtain a minimum, mid and maximum position. Position 1 and 2 can be adjusted to environment requirements.
