2.3 Set value
Address : D001
Write authorization : ebm-papst, customer, end customer
A set value can be specified for each operating mode via MODBUS using the parameter Set value.
This requires that "Set value source" (holding register D101) has the value "RS485" (1). Otherwise the
parameter has no function.
If the "Store set value" parameter (holding register D103) has the "Store" function (1) activated, the value is
transferred to the "Stored set value" parameter with every write access to the set value.
The motor then starts up again with this value following reset.
Coding:
Note: The 4 LSBs have no significance for the set value and are always assumed to be 0.
a) In speed control operating mode
The setvalue designates a speed:
maximum speed in revolutions per minute (holding register D119)
The value zero signifies motor standstill. With speed control, the maximum value of the set value is 64000.
b) In open-loop control operating mode
The set value designates a modulation level:
The value zero signifies motor standstill.
