Design
S-SA2 and S-SA2L has a galvanized sheet metal casing. The damper blade is made of calcium silicate boards.
The closed damper is sealed by an active intumescent sealing to avoid the spread of heat and smoke.
Flanges are used for the connection of the damper to a duct. S-SA2L has an additional frame of calcium silicate board
on the casing in the blade area and a duct extension tted with galvanized sheet metal mesh.
Material Composition
• S-SA2
The product contains galvanized sheet metal, calcium silicate board, reproof carbon berglass, polyurethane foam
and ethylene-propylene rubber. These are processed in accordance with local regulations.
The product contains no hazardous substances.
• S-SA2L
The product contains galvanized sheet metal, calcium silicate board, reproof carbon berglass, polyurethane foam,
Silicone blade gasket and ethylene-propylene rubber. These are processed in accordance with local regulations.

Tightness of the Blade and the Casing
S-SA2 and S-SA2L smoke dampers standardly have class C casing tightness and class 3 according to EN 1751.
