driptrayisprovidedwithadrainageoutlet.Awatertrapisalwaysnecessary.Toavoidfreezeupsandfrost
burstsofwatertrapandpipes,sufficientinsulationisrecommendedandinstallationofheating
between
theinsulationandwatertrap/pipescouldevenbenecessary(insulation,heatingandcontrollerforthe
heatingarenotdeliveredbySystemair).
i.4.6Drainingcondensatewaterfromplateheatexchanger
Condensatefromtheplateheatexchangeriscollectedinthedriptray.Heavynegativeairpressureinthis
sectionpreventsthe
waterfromflowingoutofthedrainpipe.Awatertrapwithsufficientclosinglevelof
thewaterisessentialtoensurethatcondensatewaterflowsoutoftheunit.Theclosinglevelofthewater
trapmustbeestimatedcorrectlytoensuresafeescapeofthewater(seetheillustration
andestimatethe
minimumclosinglevelaccordingtothetable).Thepipediameterofthewatertrapandsewagesystemmust
beidenticaltothepipediameterofthedrainageoutletfromthetray.
Awatertrapisoptionalandinstallationofthewatertrapisnotincluded.
