2.3.1 Environmental requirements
See section 2.3.5 for thermal limitations and see chapter 4 for information about
temperature ranges for the T-Mobile High-Speed Internet Gateway specifications.
2.3.2 Storage
According to ETS 300-019-1-1 - Class 1.1, storage of the T-Mobile High-Speed
Internet Gateway must be in Class 1.1, weather-protected, temperature-controlled
locations.
2.3.3 Transportation
According to EN 300-019-1-2 - Class 2.3, transportation of the T-Mobile High-Speed
Internet Gateway must be in packed, public transportation.
2.3.4 Stationary use
According to EN 300-019-1-3 - Class 3.1/3.2/3.E, stationary use of the T-Mobile
High-Speed Internet Gateway must be in a temperature-controlled location with no
condensation allowed.
2.3.5 Thermal limitations
The thermal limitations for the T-Mobile High-Speed Internet Gateway are:
• operating temperature (ambient): -5°C to 45°C (23°F to 113°F)
• storage temperature (ambient) with no battery: -40°C to 70°C (-40°F to 158°F)
• storage temperature (ambient) with battery:
• One year: -20°C to 23°C (-4°F to 73°F)
• Three months: -20°C to 45°C (-4°F to 113°F)
• One month: -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F)
• operating relative humidity: 5% to 85% relative humidity, non-condensing
• short-term relative humidity: 5% to 93% relative humidity, non-condensing
